One of the memorable titles from 2021, Before Your Eyes from Skybound Entertainment and GooodbyeWorld Games, is making its way on the latest virtual reality gear. While it isn’t set to be part of the PSVR2 launch list, like Moss and Resident Evil Village, but it won’t be long after the hardware becomes available that this experience will be available to users of the latest VR set.
This BAFTA award-winning title will have players find themselves in the company of The Ferryman, tasked with locating souls and transporting them to the afterlife. While sailing to their ultimate destination, players must reflect on their character’s life, the choices they made, and the moments that defined who they were. For the first time, players can now embark on this emotional award-winning adventure via a unique VR experience, as they fully immerse themselves in the game’s evocative world, utilizing the PlayStation VR2’s groundbreaking technology in unprecedented ways.
In regards to bringing their game to PSVR2, Graham Parkes, lead writer and creative director for GoodbyeWorld Games, stated, “As soon as our team heard the news that PSVR2 would have eye-tracking, we began fantasizing about a VR version, and once we began work on it, our excitement only grew. This is going to be the most magical way to experience this story, for both existing fans and newcomers alike.”
Before Your Eyes is currently available on PC via Steam and will be available on the PlayStation VR2 on March 10th. Pre-orders for the game on the new platform will open on January 26th for those looking forward to experiencing this memorable title in a new unique way.
