Waiting for games to come out is easily one of the worst things about hearing about a game long before it is ready to be played. Of course, you also don’t want to be the last one to play the game either, so watching developers discuss their upcoming games is a bittersweet symphony of trailers, release dates, interviews, and unfortunate delays. Two games that I have been waiting to hit the game story have both finally announced their official launch date and they are both releasing on the same day to both PlayStation VR and most PC VR headsets on November 12th! Check out the two titles below:
Doctor Who VR: The Edge of Time
From the developer’s Maze Theory, we have the time lord series, Doctor Who VR with the title The Edge of Time. This is going to be a real treat for all Doctor Who fans because this game is going to offer so much. If you haven’t heard already, this will be a brand-new, fully-interactive adventure that will be starring the Doctor’s current incarnation, played by Jodie Whittaker. Get ready to encounter Weeping Angels, Daleks, and the all-new canon creatures known as Hydroks.
This game is planned for PSVR and HTC Vive, Vive Cosmos, and Oculus Rift via Steam.
VR Ping Pong Pro
Bringing the most realistic version of Ping Pong to your home is Merge Games with their title VR Ping Pong Pro. Featuring a wide range of modes, including practice, arcade, basic, online, and more, this is a game that is set to create pro players out of the casual ones. Not to mention all the customization options they offer, this is everything you could want in a Ping Pong game short of getting a full table and setting it up - given you have the space for all of that!
This game is planned for PSVR and Oculus, HTC Vive, and other VR headsets via Steam.
I don’t know about you, but I think both of these titles look awesome! Plus the fact that it is coming to both PC and PS VR, these games will be available for everyone in just a few weeks. How excited are you to see both of these titles getting an official release date that isn’t even far away?
