When is the release date for Petit Planet?
Petit Planet doesn’t yet have a release date. Although they have already begun hosting beta tests, there has been no news on a date or release window. We wouldn’t be surprised if Petit Planet were released sometime in 2026.
Which consoles can you play Petit Planet on?
HoYoverse is currently only developing Petit Planet for PC and mobile. It’s possible console announcements could come in the future.
Is Petit Planet a free-to-play game?
Yes! Petit Planet, like HoYoverse’s other games, is free-to-play with monetization options through gacha systems. We don’t yet know how the game’s gacha system will work, but it is completely optional, and you don’t have to spend money to enjoy playing Petit Planet.
Is Petit Planet a multiplayer game?
While you can play Petit Planet on your own, the game allows for multiplayer content where you can meet up with other random players in the online space called The Galactic Bazaar. It’s a good idea to contribute to the community, as you can chat and trade with others.
Can I join the Petit Planet beta?
Unfortunately, the Petit Planet beta period has passed, as it began on November 7. You can still pre-register for the game on their official website, which will likely give you exclusive gifts upon the game’s release.

What is the gameplay like in Petit Planet?
Like Animal Crossing, Petit Planet is a life sim with adventure elements. You will be able to participate in activities such as fishing, bug catching, farming, crafting, and cooking. At the start, you will get to grow a community on one planet, but eventually you will be able to expand to other planets.
Petit Planet also allows for town management and decoration. Animal-like friends can be moved into your community, you can create paths and outdoor decorations, as well as customize the inside of your own home.
Speaking of your neighbors, you’ll get the chance to become their friends by chatting with them daily and giving them gifts. HoYoverse plans to add events to the game, both for your own worlds and online community events.
