Evil West, the latest title from Polish game studio Flying Wild Hog, looks to be their craziest game yet. This trailer shows off all the gory and ridiculous things players can do to the various demons and monsters that inhabit the world of Evil West.
The trailer opens with the lead character setting the scene: demons are crawling through the open gates of hell and into the world of the living. Various different environments can also be seen, ranging from Old West-style boom towns to inverted, underground pyramids surrounded by the hosts of hell.
The trailer shows off different demon types like winged, bat-like creatures that can crash down on the battlefield from above and hulking brutes with hefty clubs that can be turned against them. Demons can be juggled in the air with the right combination of attacks before getting blasted out of existence with a well-placed punch.
Shotguns blasts, close-range revolve salvos, and a strange apparatus that is one part bladed glove, one part lighting generator are the weapons of choice in Evil West, along with a host of other traps and gadgets. Players will be able to upgrade these weapons throughout the campaign to customize their character, and they’ll have the chance to slay the forces of evil alongside a friend in co-op as well.
Players can look forward to getting their gloves dirty when Evil West launches in 2022 for Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms.
