A new trailer has landed from the depths of outer space for Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed, showcasing the sites for your extra-terrestrial havoc-wreaking, from the modern metropolis of Bay City, to the eerie Russian town of Tunguska.
A remake of Destroy All Humans! 2 from 2006, Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is set in the sixties, where your task is to exact revenge on the KGB for destroying your mothership. Along the way, you will have to team up with certain members of the human species to make your mission a success.
Weapons from the original make a comeback in addition to new gadgets, allowing for more creative ways to dispose of your enemies. You can pilot your saucer to get around and beam up unsuspecting earthlings to extract their DNA for skill upgrades. You can also share the mischief with a friend and play the full campaign together in a local coop mode.
It would seem the Furon race is leaving no stone unturned in their quest for earthly domination, as the game is invading multiple platforms with all manner of editions. Alongside the standard edition, there is the Dressed to Skill Edition, which includes a skin pack for Crypto and access to the Challenges DLC expected for release in the last quarter of this year. PC purchases of this edition will also come with the soundtrack and a digital artbook.
If you really want to splash out, however, then there is the Second Coming Collector’s Edition. In addition to the Dressed to Skill content, you also get a 28-inch Crypto-figurine, a wobble-statue of the Furon god Arkvoodle, a vintage metal plate, an artbook, and the CD soundtrack.
Pre-orders are available now and will grant you instant access to the standalone multiplayer spin-off, Destroy All Humans! Clone Carnage, featuring 4 game modes with up to 4 online players, as well as a local 2-player mode.
All editions of Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed will be released August 30th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the big three: Steam, Epic Games, and GOG. The standard edition is $39.99, the Dressed to Skill edition is $54.99, and the Second Coming collector’s edition is $399.99. The Clone Carnage standalone multiplayer is also available for separate purchase now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One at $12.99.
Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is developed by Black Forest Games, who developed the first Destroy All Humans! Remake, and published by THQ Nordic.
