PM Studios have announced a new upcoming title they are working on, No Longer Human. It’s a cybergoth action game with freeform combat that’s set to launch in 2022 on PC and consoles.
Taking place in the not too distant future, brain-computer interfaces allow users to submerge themselves entirely into a metaverse and abandon their physical world. You will play a character called Tsunono, a once world-famous vocaloid idol turned cyberdemon. Her goal is nothing short of total world domination.
The game promotes up-tempo and freeform combat that incentivizes stylish play, like a combination of Devil May Cry and Smash Bros. It is designed to encourage speedrunning and replayability and will feature upgradable move-sets and special attacks.
No Longer Human is arriving on PC in 2022, and undisclosed console systems at a later date. We look forward to hearing more details from this indie developer team in the coming months ahead.
