Every fan of the anime series DragonBall Z has watched the opening sequence to each episode countless times, so when making a game that is letting players play through all the events that happened in the entire series what else would be a better fit? Bandai Namco has revealed the official opening cinematic video for their upcoming game DragonBall Z: Kakarot and it is the perfect blend of the official anime’s opening and presenting everything in the game.
While they had the chance to make this video in any way they want, I am ecstatic to see they took the nostalgic route! Using the original music score, featuring all the different characters we will come across, presenting all the most iconic moments of each saga, and sending me back through the episodes as I watched it is something that isn’t easy to pull off. Despite that, these guys have pulled it off in a 2-minute video!
Everything that has been shown off about this game continues to build my hype for it and this opening cinematic reveal is no different! January 17th is going to bring us an amazing DragonBall Z experience as it launches on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One!
