Tomorrow is the big day for those who have been following the development of Experiment 101’s upcoming title, Biomutant. With THQ Nordic set to release the game on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, they wanted to show off what the game looks like when played on both of the next-gen consoles as well. Plus, this gives everybody a final reminder and opportunity to pre-order the game before release. You can check out the rewards for pre-ordering from our breakdown last week.
This isn’t the first time that they have shown off some gameplay for the game, of course. But it is interesting to see how it can run on the latest platforms available. Keep in mind though, with this build, the option for native 4k on PlayStation has been deactivated due to stability and performance-related reasons. What you see here is 1080p quality at 60 fps upscaled to 4k quality at 60fps. It will remain deactivated for the release version, too. It will not be a native current-gen experience, after all.
