It is very refreshing to see Patriot to not only offer great entry gaming products but also products geared towards the more competitive gamers. I was a little hesitant with seeing a FPS+MMO design but quickly changed my mind when the mouse was in my hand.

Features, features, and more features! The Patriot Viper V570 makes it very easy to switch between different profiles and DPI settings at a click of the button, not only is it easy to switch but there is also a unique RGB indicator that shows you exactly which DPI and profile setting you are currently on. The software to program the macro keys, RGB settings, re-programming buttons, and changing profiles is very intuitive to use. Adding weights to this mouse is much easier than the other Patriot models.

The features made playing Overwatch, Dota2, and CS:GO more convenient with the programmable buttons to switching my DPI settings from a FPS game to a MOBA. I was also able to maintain my performance after a couple of minutes of acclimating to the new mouse.

Aesthetics and Build Quality

The Patriot Viper V570 looks much better plugged in than the pictures show. The RGB lights are very vibrant and placed well. The overall look of the mouse is very aesthetically appealing. The V570 is definitely the most comfortable mouse that Patriot has made. From the buttons, housing, and Omron switches, the mouse feels like it is built very well and is made to be used.

What It Could Do Better

I felt like some of the buttons could of been placed a little bit better especially the macro buttons closest to the palm, I feel like using those buttons often could really tire out your hand. I also have small hands so the furthest button feels a little of a stretch to reach. Other than that this mouse feels great to use.

Verdict

This is definitely my favorite mouse and the most comfortable from Patriot. If you are like me and switch a lot between FPS and MOBA games this mouse is definitely worth a try. The Patriot Viper V570 has a MSRP of $59.99 and can be purchased at Patriot.
