Fans of the Shadow Warrior series have already had their hype started up from the original announcement of the third installment from the Devolverland Expo marketing simulator and news event. Devolver Digital has decided to take it a step further and show a full playthrough of the “Way to Motoko” section of Flying Wild Hog’s upcoming Shadow Warrior 3!
This mission shows off so much of the game, from the beautifully scenic environment to the gruesome first-person combat the series is known for. Taking only 17 minutes to get through, we can see some of the enemies and combat abilities that will be in this next installment to the series. It even starts off with a briefing-like segment where we can even see how the story will be portrayed and what we can expect when it comes to cutscenes.
The plan is still set to launch Shadow Warrior 3 in 2021 on PC via Steam, but at least we got a much better glimpse into what the full game will offer. That small teaser we got originally simply wasn’t enough, but this full playthrough has me excited myself now! What did you think of this gameplay reveal?
