Sonic Rumble, the massive multiplayer online battle royale game developed by Sega and Rovio, the studio behind Angry Birds, is officially launching on mobile and PC in November.
Sega announced the new release window in a blog post published by the developers on Wednesday, telling fans of the improvements they have made in Sonic Rumble over the last few months for players with early access to the game. It also dropped a new gameplay trailer to give people who are waiting on the game’s official release what to expect.
The new release window comes almost three months after Sega delayed the game’s global launch in order to tweak it per feedback from early access players. The developers said they improved Sonic Rumble’s onboarding process, simplified the character and skin progression system, and added new levels and game modes to keep the game fresh and exciting.
Sonic Rumble has been in early access for over a year for those who signed up, and the November release window finally announced, fans are anticipating it more than ever before. As for when the game will actually launch, this Sonic fan is hoping to see it come out one to two weeks before Thanksgiving.
