Mantic Games has a history of creating successful and exciting board games. The developers behind Hellboy: The Board Game and Dungeon Saga: The Dwarf’s Kings Quest are now working on bringing League of Infamy to a table near you.
The game will subvert your expectations of traditional dungeon-crawlers, though. No band of heroes awaits. Only a ragtag group of scoundrels and villains that seek to maintain their criminal enterprises by stealing drakon eggs from an elven stronghold. That’s right. The fantasy Suicide Squad is here, and they’re not always capable of teamwork.
Whether you play as the Crazed Gunslinging Dwarf, the Insane Sorceress, or the Goblin Ninja, just be sure to watch your back. The elves aren’t the only ones you have to be wary of. League of Infamy is an (occasionally) co-operative dungeon crawler for up to five players, where a customizable campaign will guarantee a memorable adventure for your party if they can keep from stabbing each other in the back.
The Kickstarter campaign for League of Infamy is still active, so if you want to join the other gamers pledging their support, you have until November 13th.
Which villainous adventurer would you play as?
