Did you know that there’s a secret ending in Reanimal? All you have to do to see it is find five coffins during your travels. These coffins must be opened, and they’re all residing in hidden places, so they’re difficult to come by. We’ll help you find all coffins in Reanimal so you can experience the secret ending for yourself.
All coffin locations in Reanimal
First Coffin - Chapter 1
After moving the trolley down the train track, reach the end and hop off. Instead of going immediately right, go back out of the tunnel and follow the secondary train track heading southeast. You should see a derailed, abandoned train.
Enter the train and hop out at the end of it on the right-hand side. Sitting on a derailed set of tracks ahead of you will be the first Coffin. Interact with it to open it.
Second Coffin - Chapter 3
Instead of driving your boat into the hotel, turn right and drive to the end of the flooded street. You’ll see some mines floating, so throw your harpoons at them to have them explode. If you don’t have the harpoons yet, go down the flooded street, then turn right under the collapsing building. Return to the flooded street after getting them in this section.
You can now drive through where they were blocking, and you’ll see a prison building ahead. Drive your boat onto land and get out. Head through the glowing entrance of the building, go down the stairs, and you should see a Coffin standing by the entrance. Open it, and you can continue back to the hotel.
Third Coffin - Chapter 3
Back on open waters, once you see the cannon island, drive around it by the cliffs into a closed-off area. Then, turn right and drive into the hidden cave. Kill the monster with your harpoon, and keep driving until you reach dry land to beach the boat. You will see a Coffin here that you can open.
Fourth Coffin - Chapter 4
Make it to the room in the orphanage where you kill the spider kids, and your friend was tied to a rope that was dropped into the open floor. Before you turn the wheel to lift up your friend, go to the bottom left-hand corner of the room, and you’ll see a door on your left. Go through that door, and you’ll see the fourth Coffin.
Fifth Coffin - Chapter 7
Upon reaching the hospital after the trenches section, you’ll be running to avoid the exploding soldiers. Once you’ve escaped them, go back where you came from, and you’ll be able to go through the broken wall made by one of the explosions on your left. You’ll see a bunker door handle, so turn it left and go down the ladder. At the bottom, you should see the last Coffin you need to open.
After finding all five coffins, you’ll unlock the Friends Reunited achievement. Also, by the end of the game, you’ll get a short, exclusive scene after the credits end.
