The Shrouded Sky update will have you travel the Buried City and the Dam Battlegrounds, thanks to the brand new A Rising Tide quest. Its multiple steps might disorient some, with a certain puzzle potentially believing the game is bugged.
Fortunately, all you need is a bit of RNG when it comes to ARC and raider encounters, and you’ll come out of this quest unscathed. Here is how to complete the A Rising Tide quest in Arc Raiders.
In Buried City, find the foreman's barricaded apartment south of Piazza Roma
First off, we will need to find the foreman’s barricaded apartment. As instructed, you can find it south of Piazza Roma. Accessing it can be quite the hassle, but if you are feeling like a daredevil, you can make use of a small shortcut.
Position yourself on the rooftop right across the two buildings shown in the map above, located below Piazza Roma. Use the zipline and then jump into the apartment on the right.
Access the foreman's digital logbook
Walk to the back of the room, and you’ll find the foreman’s digital logbook in the desk. Interact with it, and your objectives will update. That is all for the Buried City. You can extract or continue exploring for loot.
On Dam Battlegrounds, reach the Power Generation Complex and find a way into the Controlled Access Zone
The Power Generation Complex is located in the northmost part of the Dam Battleground. Upon arrival, you’ll be prompted to enter the Controlled Access Zone.
The easiest way into the area is down a ladder located next to a damaged helipad on the rooftop. Be wary, as ARCs and your fellow raiders might want you to meet your untimely death on sight.
Search the Controlled Access Zone for any clues about the foreman's reconstruction project
The clues you’ll need to find are located across the room, through a corridor, and to the left. However, some raiders have found the door locked and themselves unable to open it. And no, it’s not bugged.
If that’s your case, you will need to find a fuel cell and install it in a station in the metal stairs room where you initially descended. You can find it all the way down the stairs, but be sure to get rid of any small ARCs in the area, as you’ll have to carry the fuel cell all the way back.
Once installed, you’ll be able to access the room. Interact with the whiteboard, and you’ll complete A Rising Tide.
