Pendola Pass quests might force us to face the most dangerous foes on the surface, but from time to time, they will give us a simple, single-location task. That is, of course, if lethal ARCs don’t make it their life mission to end ours. Here is how to complete the Ruins and Reverberations quest in Arc Raiders.
How to complete the Ruins and Reverberations quest in Arc Raiders
For starters, you don’t need any type of special equipment. Still, you will need to bring a specific item: a Spotter Relay. You can find these by killing Spotters and scavenging them. While relatively easy to kill, you must do it fast, as they will direct Bombardiers to blast us into smithereens if we take long enough. Place the Spotter Relay in a Safe Pocket and travel to Pendola Pass.
Connect a Spotter Relay to the antenna on the roof of the Cielo Sereno Observatory
The Cielo Sereno Observatory is located in the northeastern part of Pendola Pass. Be extra careful in this area, as the Dynamic Loot Zone system will make it a red threat level instead of yellow. In my case, that meant a Bombardier was waiting for me at the entrance.
You don’t need special equipment to climb onto the roof (I learned that the hard way). Go to the easternmost part of the observatory, and you will find a fixed ladder. Use it.
The antenna is waiting for you on the western side of the observatory. Interact with it to attach the Spotter Relay.
Weld the wires in the crawlspace under the control room to redirect power
Return to ground level, enter the observatory through the main staircase, and take a right.
Once inside the control room, drop into the hole in the ground right in front of the entrance, then head left through the crawlspace.
There, you will find wires in the crawlspace that need welding. Interact with the panel and prepare to return to the roof.
Activate the Spotter Relay at the antenna again
Return to the roof and interact with the antenna once again to activate the Spotter Relay. Once you do, the quest will be completed.
