Getting a new map for the Frozen Trails update was nice and all, but what about the other maps? Wouldn’t it be nice to visit them and spend potentially hours scavenging red areas just for time’s sake? You’re in luck, then. Here is how to complete the Taking Stock quest in Arc Raiders.
How to complete the Taking Stock quest in Arc Raiders
As is very evidently implied in the introduction, the Taking Stock quest will have you visit various maps, including Stella Montis, Spaceport, and Dam Battlegrounds/Buried City. For the most part, be sure to equip an augment with at least one Safe Pocket, as you will be carrying important items to and from the surface.
On Stella Montis, take a photo of the sculpture in the Atrium
Before you begin your raid, be sure to place a Basic Camera in your Safe Pocket. Stella Montis is notorious for aggressive PVP action, so you don’t want those cameras gone for good. You can find the Atrium on the upper level, right between the Loading Bay and the Cultural Archives.
Point your camera at the sculpture that resembles a spinning top, and you’ll be done. Return to Speranza or keep looting Stella Montis if you wish.
On Spaceport, take a photo of a Baron Husk
Depending on your spawn point, there are multiple Baron Husks you can approach to snap a pic. In my case, the closest one to me was located northwest of the Shipping Warehouse, in the northernmost part of Spaceport. Again, grab your camera and take a pic of the Husk, and you’ll be done.
On Dam Battlegrounds, ping a Bombardier / On Buried City, ping a Bastion
You only need to complete one of these two objectives. Bombardiers are easier to spot, although I did struggle to locate one. Either way, visit one of the locations below to find Bombardiers in Dam Battlegrounds and Bastions on Buried City.

Deliver 3 Industrial Batteries to the Nomadic Envoy
Now, this is where you’ll probably spend the most time if the RNG gods are not in your favor. You can find Industrial Batteries in Industrial zones, go figure, and you’ll find the most success and the least risk in Dam Battlegrounds.
Personally, I found the three batteries at the Hydroponic Dome Complex, so be sure to check that zone up or the other ones marked above. Once you collect an Industrial Battery, place it in your Safe Pocket to prevent irreparable ragequits.
Return to Speranza and hand over the batteries to the Nomadic Envoy, completing the quest. Check out our full Arc Raiders quest list for more quest guides.
