With just about two months and counting until the official release of Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games’ Evil Dead: The Game, we have finally received a small glimpse of what players will be able to expect when playing as the evil forces going toe to toe with Ash and co.
Playing as the Kandarian Demon, you’ll be able to use the world to your advantage. Setting traps throughout the woods, commanding the vile Deadites, and even possessing survivors are just some of the ways you can turn the tide of battle in your favor.
You can even choose a physical form that fits your playstyle to further your strength. There’s Henrietta, Eligos, and Evil Ash, just to name a few. It’s definitely shaping up to be a more fully-fleshed-out experience than anticipated and really looks like a blast to play.
While we can’t show the trailer here due to it being age-restricted, I highly advise you to check it out for yourself right here. The visuals are fantastic and the villains look so cool in their evil and gory glory. I normally don’t play as the villains in games similar to this but this title actually makes it look worthwhile and fun.
Evil Dead: The Game releases on May 13 for PC (via Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One with a future release planned for the Nintendo Switch. Pre-ordering any version of the game gives players access to two bonus outfits for Ash: the Ash Williams S-Mart Employee Outfit and Ash Williams Gallant Knight Outfit.
