All Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Pre-Order Bonuses and Editions, Explained

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is shaping up to be one of the biggest racing games of the year when it launches on September 25. It stands out from similar titles, such as Switch 2 exclusive Mario Kart World, by letting you cross over to a different world during the second lap, then cross back to the track you were racing on to begin with. Even better, it comes out next month and is already available for pre-order.

If you’re a major Sonic fan and excited to play this highly-anticipated racing title, chances are you already pre-ordered the game or are planning to. If the latter is the case, we’ll tell you where you can pre-order Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and what rewards you can get on release day when you do.

Where Can I Pre-Order Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds?

You can pre-order the game by visiting your platform’s respective digital storefront, or by going to the official Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds website.

If you’re pre-ordering a digital copy, select which console platform you want to play on – PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, or Epic Games – click “Pre-order,” and you’ll be directed to the digital storefront related to your preferred platform.

For the physical version, select your preferred platform, your country (United States or Canada), and select the retailer you wish to get your physical copy from (Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, or Walmart).

Despite the Nintendo Switch 2 being displayed as an option, this version of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is not available for pre-order at this time as it will be released at a later date. Also, note that Xbox One and Epic Games are absent from the physical column.

What Do I Get When I Pre-Order Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds?

The Standard Edition of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds includes the base game for $69.99. Meanwhile, the Deluxe Edition costs $89.99 and includes 3 days early access, the Season Pass, and a Sonic Prime character pack featuring Rusty Rose, Tails Nine, and Knuckles the Dread.

Additionally, whether you pre-order the Standard or Digital Deluxe edition of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Sonic the Werehog from Sonic Unleashed will be added to your racer roster. The lupine version of Sonic, who is unfortunately not voiced, will come with a decal of him clawing at you and a car that matches his nocturnal aesthetic.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launches September 25 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
