In Part 3 of Silent Hill: Townfall, Dr. Glenn gives you an exhaustive amount of tasks to do while berating you over the intercom. One of these tasks is taking two X-rays of a patient, but he won’t give you any instructions on how to do so. We’re here to help you solve the X-ray puzzle in Silent Hill: Townfall.
X-Ray puzzle solutions in Silent Hill: Townfall
To solve the X-ray puzzle in Silent Hill: Townfall, use the computer to set the dials to the correct settings and align the camera with the white boxes. After getting the correct readings, Dr. Glenn will first ask you to get a skull X-ray of the patient. First, turn on the computer in the main room and look at the X-Ray Dosage Table.
Keep in mind the numbers for the skull, then head into the back room. In here, you’ll find a panel full of dials that you can turn to different numbers. You’ll want to set kV to 3, mA to 7, and time to 1. Also, make sure the panel is turned on by flicking the on switch in the bottom left-hand corner.
Now, turn on the computer in this back room, which is the camera computer. To set the camera correctly, pan up and align the four boxes in the corners with the four squares around the skull. The skull is denoted by the imprint of the patient’s nose and eyes under the blanket.
Wait for the computer to say it’s aligned, return to the panel, then press the X-ray button. You’ll know it’s set to the right settings when the green light blinks. Now, you can move on to the chest.
This should be much easier now that you know how it is done. Return to the dosage table in the main room and set the dials to the correct numbers: 7 kV, 3 mA, and 1.2s. Also, make sure the camera is now aligned with the chest area.
Hit the X-ray button again once it’s all set, and you’re good to go! You can now take the printed X-rays and place them on the wall to examine, which will continue the story.
