Nintendo has announced that the NES Classic will be returning to store shelves in 2018. Specifically, this coming summer both Europe and America will be able to purchase the console and Nintendo assures consumers that there will not be a shortage like last time. Considering they've already dramatically increased production for the SNES Classic and are announcing a date for the NES Classic so early, I'm inclined to believe them.
Of course, I already know there will be people who will take this with a grain of salt until they see one on store shelves (not that I blame them), but isn't it nicer just to think Nintendo will make good on their promise this time around?
