Once Simon reaches the clinic in Silent Hill: Townfall, he finds a room with three measuring scales that require three items to fill them. The only problem is at this point you don’t have all the items necessary to fill these scales. For anyone struggling to complete the scales puzzle in Silent Hill: Townfall, here’s where to find the necessary items and in which order to place them.
Where to find the three scale items in Silent Hill: Townfall
To complete the Silent Hill: Townfall scales puzzle, you need Zoe’s Lanyard, a Broken Stethoscope, and the Prescription Dosage Error Note. Here are the three locations you’ll find each item at:
Zoe’s Lanyard: Organ Transport Box
Broken Stethoscope: Inside Jess’s house
Prescription Dosage Error Note (Medicine Bag): Pharmacy locker
At this point, you should already have Zoe’s Lanyard, which was inside the Organ Transport Box. Then, head to the Pharmacy to get the Prescription Dosage Error Note, which you get by completing the Pharmacy’s locker puzzle.
After this will be Jess’s House. To get inside Jess’s house, which is locked, you need to find her house key at house 16. It won’t be on your map, but it’s the large building across from the front of Jess’s with the address number 16.
Inside house 16, you should find the keys to get inside Jess’s home on a table. Make it back inside Jess’s house, and you’ll find the Broken Stethoscope on the bed.
How to solve the scale puzzle
Once you get all three of these items, head back to the Clinic and read the Resignation Letter. The three lines of the letter bolded in red will give you the clue that leads you to place the items in this order: Broken Stethoscope, Prescription Dosage Error Note, Zoe’s Lanyard.
Place them from left to right in that order, and you should get the cutscene that carries on the story. Eventually, you’ll have to face a much tougher puzzle, which is the X-ray puzzle in Silent Hill: Townfall.
