Annapurna Interactive has announced that after a successful run on the Switch and Steam, fast and stylish shooter Neon White is going to be making the jump to PlayStation consoles on December 13th.
Developed by Angel Matrix, the game is a light-speed thrill ride of an FPS that throws the player into the shoes of the titular Neon White, an assassin pulled from hell. He becomes involved in a deadly competition with other demon slayers with a place in heaven being the prize at stake. There is something else bothering him though, a sense that he may have met some of the other assassins before.
The gameplay is a mix of combat and parkour that sees the player leaping across levels, blowing demons apart without even breaking stride. The aim is to clear the level as quickly as possible killing every demon at a breakneck pace.
It uses an innovative card-based mechanic where cards can be drawn and used or discarded at speed. Using provides shooting power, and discarding gives a movement ability, meaning every draw is a split-second choice.
Neon White will be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 from December 13th. It is available now for the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The GameTyrant review can be read here.
