A community effort from a galaxy far far away is reinvigorating life into a classic Star Wars MMO, Star Wars Galaxies Restoration. 2003 was the highlight year for many Star Wars fans when their dreams came true with the newly launched MMO, promising something that every Star Wars fan could possibly hope for. To live out their wildest dreams in the Star Wars galaxy.
This fan made restoration project is bringing back the classic MMO for free to all Star Wars fans craving another go at the intergalactic role-playing adventure. This is also a fantastic time for those that could not experience the MMO when it first launched and are ready to start their adventure for the first time. Players will have the ability to choose a multitude of professions including smugglers, bounty hunters, doctors, and the list goes on. You simply live out your life in the Star Wars galaxy the way you see fit.
Currently, the Jedi profession is still in the works but will soon be released with update 1.1 along with the introduction of the Mustafar planet. Currently, there are 11 planets available to explore in the galaxy. This is a very early version of the restoration project and it will continue to receive updates as time goes on.
