Once you reach Chapter 6 of Valor Mortis, you’ll fight a mini-boss called The Bride. If you interact with the wreath in the arena after defeating her, this will begin the Till Death quest. This is an easily forgotten side quest only due to the fact that it takes quite a while to find the item required to complete it, so we’ll help you complete the Till Death side quest in Valor Mortis.
Till Death side quest guide in Valor Mortis
You can finish the Till Death quest in Valor Mortis by grabbing the Red Ribbon item you’ll find at the church by the end of Chapter 6. Wait until the very end of the Cursed Hollow chapter, when you obtain the Claymore weapon inside the church.
After defeating the wave of enemies, exit the church and enter the graveyard. Once you make it to a fork in the road, turn right and stand in the blue circle to watch the flashback. The Red Ribbon is lying on the grave.
Pick up the Red Ribbon, then the next time you get to a lantern, return to the Village Church lantern. You’ll find the wreath by heading forward from this lantern and turning at the second left. You can also reach the wreath from the Eerie View lantern by taking the shortcut route via the ladder.
Interact with the wreath, and you’ll place the Red Ribbon on it. Although you’ll get the Tomorrow’s Promise Amber for doing this, the quest will only update and won’t finish, as your quest log will say there’s more to the story.
To finish the quest, rest at a lantern and return to the wreath. You’ll find the wreath has now bloomed, which will fully complete the Till Death side quest. If you equip the Tomorrow’s Promise Amber, your Ferrofluid Flask will now slowly regenerate your health over time instead of giving you an instant refresh of health.
Once you eventually finish Valor Mortis, you may want to move on to a similar game such as Silent Hill: Townfall.
