With a new Expedition in Arc Raiders comes new items to scavenge. In this case, Ion Sputters and Frequency Modulation Boxes will be the booty you will literally fight for during your various rounds in Stella Montis, a place plagued with dangerous ARC enemies and very ambitious raiders.

Both items will be available for you pick up at Exodus locations in Stella Montis: Assembly and Business Center, both on the upper level of the map.

With that being said, you will probably find an extreme level of PVP competition on this map. So, if you want to survive for a bit longer, you can also choose to go to Spaceport and visit Rocket Assembly, located in the eastern part of the map.

Whether you are in Stella Montis or in Spaceport, the truth is that competition will be just one of the problems you’ll encounter. The other one, of course, is RNG. Ion Sputters and Frequency Modulation Boxes, epic and rare items, respectively, appear very rarely inside each container in each Exodus location.

For Phase 4 of the new Expedition, you will need to collect 5 Frequency Modulation Boxes and 3 Ion Sputters. This means that you will not only have to open every single container in all Exodus locations, but also do it multiple times.

All the while, you will have to grow a set of eyes on the back of your head in case other raiders or ARC enemies decide to jump scare you seconds before putting you to perpetual slumber. To circumvent the threat of death, equip an Augment that gives you Safe Pockets and immediately stash these items there.
